In many cases, other than General Anesthesia, oral conscious sedation is the only option, for providing dental care in a safe and controlled environment. At Palm Valley Pediatric Dentistry Goodyear, Avondale, Surprise Arizona, conscious sedation is administered orally as a cocktail combination of several drugs.

Both of our Pediatric Dentists are members of of the College of Diplomats of the American Board of Pediatrics Dentistry and train our staff in rendering treatment through conscious sedation. As standard procedures at our practices, Dr. Olga and Dr. Lisa Chinn calculate the dose of the oral sedative based on the patient's weight, not body mass index. and they use clinical assessment and pulse oximeter to monitor patients during treatment under sedation.
